OUR STORY.

Background

Originally from Boston, Mélisa has lived all over the world. She started in newborn and maternity photography and loved how she made women feel beautiful at that stage of their lives. Now, with the philosophy that women should feel their best anytime, she's expanded into Boudoir. She's an expert at posing and shaping women's bodies to create elegant lines and flattering angles.

Arielle has been a photographer for 12 years and loves a challenge—which is why her portfolio ranges from avant-garde fashion to headshots. Boudoir stood out for her, however, after struggling with her own body image issues following a car wreck injury. Now, helping women feel amazing in their skin is a personal and cathartic practice for Arielle.

Mission

Women rarely have a space in their lives to feel truly themselves. Boudoir provides an atmosphere where you’re not just stripping down literally but also stripping away insecurity, expectations, and outside pressures. We encourage women to use their session as a way to celebrate, a way to explore, or even a way to reclaim their power. Boudoir isn’t just being sexy, it’s learning to create your own intimate space where you define what being sexy means to you; where you can appreciate yourself where you are. We want you to leave your session empowered and comfortable in your own skin, and carry that energy with you into other aspects of your lives.

“From start to finish, working with Arielle + Mélisa was exciting and stress-free.”
